What sets McAdoo’s apart is not just its prime beachfront location, but also its enticing menu of cocktails. Here, you can sip on tropical concoctions like the Caribbean Breeze, a refreshing blend of Absolut vodka, pineapple juice, and grenadine, or indulge in the complexities of the Pineapple Passion, a delightful mix of pineapple jack coconut rum and fruit juices. For those with a penchant for fun, the bar’s Bucket Specials showcase lively mixes such as Voodoo Juice, a euphoric combination of rums and various juices that transports you straight to paradise.

But the drinks are just the beginning. McAdoo's Beach Bar is renowned for its lively atmosphere. Patrons are met with welcoming faces and attentive service, as noted by guests like Diana De La Cruz, who praised the good drinks and attentive staff, particularly “Fran.” With elevated seating that overlooks the beach, the bar offers scenic views that enhance each sip. Guests like Frank Steele appreciate the “great atmosphere to drink in the surf and wind,” turning a simple outing into an experience.

Beyond the cocktails, McAdoo’s Beach Bar thrives on community and interaction, fostering a fun environment where locals and tourists can mingle over tunes chosen from the bar's TouchTunes jukebox. Amanda Workman describes it as her “most favorite beach bar” due to the mix of vibrant music, friendly bartenders, and a fun-loving crowd of regulars. Whether you prefer to dance along to the rhythms or simply soak in the lively vibe, McAdoo’s promises a fulfilling experience.

However, a word of caution from Angie Hambright: don't come here expecting a full dining experience. McAdoo’s is all about laughter, music, and those million-dollar views. It’s an awesome bar, but parking can be tricky, and it’s not the spot for a hungry family looking for menus full of food. Instead, embrace the joyous atmosphere, engage in lively conversations, and savor the delightful cocktails that make McAdoo's Beach Bar a must-visit destination on your beach adventure.

This bar is at the entrance we used to get to the beach everyday and we stopped by for a drink here every day. Great little spot with elevated seating overseeing the beach. Fun staff and fun atmosphere.

This is our most favorite beach bar. We absolutely love the bartender Franny and come here multiple nights while on vacation. It’s the perfect dive bar to visit at the beach. We love that they play a good mix of music and have TouchTunes so you can choose some of your own. There are quite a few locals that visit who are always fun to talk with.

Small quaint beach bar with a view. Beers are 3. Seems reasonable, since other places are higher...

I had a sudden urge for a strawberry daiquiri at 12:45am and I wasn't looking for a busy, bustling, overly crowded, noisy, all those icky things I don't enjoy on my relaxing beach vacation. I did a quick google search for strawberry daiquiri near me while standing near my hotel on the beach. That's when Google told me about McAdoos. Just a mile away walk from my hotel, with 2 hours till close my husband and I set out hoping it would be what I was looking for atmosphere wise. As we walked up I saw a loud crowded club with security outside and was totally hoping it wasn't this place. I was relieved to see the beach bar behind that club was actually McAdoos a very cute, calm, quiet, hear the waves and the music beach bar!!! McAdoos and their bartender was exactly what I was looking for!!! My strawberry daiquiris were AHMAZING and cost 9.75 which is typical for the beach. My husband had a yager bomb for 5 and a Yuengling was 5.25.
